The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has declared the result of the Mains examination of the Punjab State Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination (PSCSCCE) 2025 on 4 November 2026. A total of 751 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for the interview stage against 331 posts. Shortlisted candidates must attend in-person document scrutiny from 11 to 17 November 2026 at the PPSC office in Patiala. This is a provisional shortlist, not the final selection — the final merit list will follow the interview.
Update (5 November 2026): Some aspirants have alleged irregularities in the result — they claim about 24.21% of shortlisted candidates are from a single centre, 86 consecutive roll numbers were selected, and some unregistered roll numbers were selected. Representations have been sent to the President, Prime Minister, Chief Minister and CBI, and BJP’s Pradeep Bhandari demanded a CBI probe on 5 November. As of the afternoon of 5 November, PPSC and the state government had not responded. These allegations are unverified. The document scrutiny schedule (11–17 November, Patiala) is unchanged.
