Category-wise, the posts are UR 37, SC 6, ST 2, OBC 3 and EWS 6. Nayab Tehsildar and Excise Inspector carry Level-07 pay (Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400). Supply, Marketing, Labour Enforcement, Tax Officer and Senior Cane Development Inspector carry Level-06 pay (Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400), and Cane Development Inspector carries Level-05 pay (Rs. 29,200 – 92,300).
A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university is required for all posts — only the two cane development posts need a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture. Supply and Marketing Inspector also need good knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script. Selection will be in three stages — Prelims (150 questions, 150 marks, 2 hours, 0.25 negative marking for wrong answers), Mains (4 papers, 600 marks) and Interview (75 marks). Prelims marks will not count towards the final merit.
