Eligibility (Summary)
- Professor: Ph.D. in the concerned/allied discipline, minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals, Master’s degree with at least 55% marks, and minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience with evidence of guiding doctoral candidates.
- Assistant Professor: Ph.D. in the specific area of specialization, First Class at Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, and 2 years of teaching/research/industry experience at lecturer level.
- Professor of Practice: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the relevant engineering discipline and minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience (senior professionals from DRDO, defence PSUs, armed forces or aerospace industries preferred).
- Pay scale: Professor – Academic Level-14, Assistant Professor – Academic Level-10 (7th CPC); Professor of Practice – consolidated Rs. 1.50 lakh to Rs. 2 lakh per month.
