This recruitment is not open to the general public. The applicant must be a serving Senior Section Engineer in Pay Level-7 in the relevant Mechanical or Electrical department of a Zonal Railway or Production Unit, with at least 5 years of experience. A Degree or Diploma is preferred. Selection is by screening based on APAR and educational qualification, followed by a merit list. Posting can be at RDSO inspection units including Lucknow, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and New Delhi.
