Eligibility: 12th pass from a recognised board, a basic computer knowledge certificate, a valid Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family ID) and Aadhaar card. Proof of shop premises (ownership or rent agreement) and a site map are required. The applicant must have no criminal case, no previously cancelled FPS licence, and must not be a close relative of the local Sarpanch or Municipal Councillor.
Selection process: There is no written exam. After the online application, documents are scrutinised and the area inspector carries out field verification; the licensing authority takes the final decision.

- Search for the service “Issue of New Fair Price Shop (FPS) License” and check the vacancy for your village or ward.

- Upload your 10th/12th certificate, computer certificate, Aadhaar and required undertakings.
- Submit the form before 10 November 2026 and keep the application reference number safe.
