Candidates need 75% and above, or CGPA 7.5+, from an AICTE/UGC-approved college/university — PLUS a recent referral/sponsorship letter from the college/university, which is mandatory. Biological Sciences: Biotechnology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Toxicology or Immunology. Chemical Sciences: Organic, Inorganic or Analytical Chemistry. Engineering: Electronics, Mechanical, IT or Computer Sciences. The stipend is paid in two instalments: Rs 15,000 after 3 months and Rs 15,000 after 6 months. No accommodation, boarding/lodging or TA/DA is given. A completion certificate is issued only after 6 months from joining. There is no right to absorption in DRDO.
