Update: 7 November 2026 — The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started registration for NEET PG 2026 Round 2 counselling. Registration opened today, 7 November 2026, at 1:00 PM. MCC issued Notice No. 5 on 7 November 2026 announcing the revised Round 2 schedule, because the National Medical Commission (NMC) has approved new PG seats and they are being added to the Round 2 seat matrix.

Who Can Participate: Candidates who qualified in NEET PG 2026. Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 can move to Round 2 for an upgrade. Candidates who did not register in Round 1 can also register fresh and join Round 2. Only one registration is allowed — a duplicate registration leads to debarment from counselling.

NMC sent the list of newly approved PG seats to MCC on 3 November 2026. Institutes had to verify these seats and apply the reservation roster by 6 November, which is why the Round 2 schedule was changed. The new seat matrix can be seen on the MCC website. Choice filling opens only at 1:00 PM on 10 November, so candidates get time to study the new seat matrix before filling their choices.
How to Register
- Open the official website mcc.nic.in and go to the PG Medical Counselling section.
- Click New Registration and fill in your NEET PG 2026 roll number and other details.
- Pay the fee + security deposit online as per your category and quota.
- Fill your choices from 10 November and lock them before 11:55 PM on 15 November.
- Check the result on 17 November and join the allotted college between 18 and 24 November.
