Scientist posts need a NET pass from ICAR, UGC, CSIR or another approved agency (Ph.D. holders should check the exemption rules in the official notice). Scientist applicants also take a Competence Evaluation Test. Before joining, you must sign a bond on Rs. 1,000 stamp paper to serve at least 3 years. Check the official notification for the discipline-wise number of posts.
