Eligibility: regular, full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology in the relevant discipline, passed in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or May 2026; the candidate must hail from Tamil Nadu. Candidates who have already done, or are doing, a NATS 2.0 or NAPS apprenticeship or a PMIS internship, or who have one year or more of experience, are not eligible. This is apprenticeship training, not a regular job; TNPDCL has no obligation to offer employment after training. Selection: shortlisting by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (Southern Region) on diploma percentage, discipline-wise, followed by certificate verification.
