What is Bihar Udyami Yojana 2026?
Officially Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana (MMUY), run by Bihar’s Department of Industries. Provides financial assistance to unemployed youth, women, and reserved categories — part grant, part interest-free loan.

Big update of 8 October 2026: first installment released
On 8 October 2026, at Bapu Sabhagar in Patna, Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary transferred the first installment of the Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana directly to the bank accounts of 7,000+ beneficiaries. On the same occasion the Bihar MSME Policy 2026 was launched and MSME centres in every district were announced.
The state government has earmarked around ₹3,500 crore for the scheme and aims to prepare 45,000 entrepreneurs — along with a larger target of 1 crore jobs by 2030. If you were selected in the 2025-26 cycle, check your installment status by logging in at udyami.bihar.gov.in.

2025-26 cycle is CLOSED — applications ran 25 Feb to 23 Mar 2026. Lottery selection done 20 May 2026. 2026-27 dates not announced yet.
