The Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA), Hamirpur, has issued a new teacher recruitment notification. Under Advertisement No. 14/2026, a total of 2,423 teacher posts will be filled in CBSE-affiliated and other government schools in Himachal Pradesh. This notification, dated 2 November 2026, is different from the live HPRCA Teacher Admit Card post about the PET/Sanskrit CBT examination held on 27 October. Eligible candidates can apply online from 10 November to 5 December 2026.

Eligibility
For English and Mathematics, candidates need an MA/MSc in the subject, 50% in graduation, at least 55% in the subject, BEd with the subject as compulsory, and TET passed (with relaxed marks for SC/ST/OBC). For Hindi, Political Science, History and Economics, a Master’s in the subject (50% aggregate), BEd (50%) and TET are required. For other posts, check official notification.
Selection Process
Selection will be through a written screening test (CBT or OMR) followed by document verification. Qualifying marks are 45% for General candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC/Wards of Freedom Fighters. One Time Registration (OTR) is required before filling the Online Recruitment Application.
