The rabi season has begun in Haryana. Ploughing is underway in the fields, preparations for wheat sowing are in full swing, and every farmer is asking the same question — how do I register my crop this time, so that I get the right price when I sell it in the mandi and the money comes directly into my bank account? If the crop is not registered on time, selling it in the mandi can become difficult, and the benefit of government procurement at the minimum support price can be lost.
To solve exactly this problem, the Government of Haryana started the Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal. This portal gives farmers crop registration, mandi sale, gate pass and payment information in one place. In this article, we give you the complete information about this portal — how to register for rabi 2026-27, which documents are needed, how much minimum support price you will get for each crop, how to check your registration status, and when and how the payment will come. Read the article till the end, because we have also answered the questions that every farmer asks, and explained the mistakes that cause registrations to get stuck.
One thing must be made clear at the start — every fact in this article is based on available government and news sources. The exact start date and last date for rabi 2026-27 registration have not been clearly announced on the official portal yet, so wherever there is uncertainty about a date, we have written it clearly. Before applying, please check fasal.haryana.gov.in once.
What is Meri Fasal Mera Byora?
Meri Fasal Mera Byora is an online portal of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of Haryana. Its name itself explains its work — “meri fasal, mera byora”, meaning “my crop, my details”. The farmer himself records the full details of his crop with the government — which crop has been sown, in how much area, and in which field.
The portal was launched in 2019. Its purpose is that the government knows in advance how much of each crop will be produced in the state, so that procurement arrangements in the mandis can be made on time. For the farmer, the benefit is that after registering, he can sell his crop in the government mandi at the minimum support price (MSP), and the payment comes directly into his bank account. Without registration, this facility is not available.
Registration on the portal has to be done separately for every season. Kharif and rabi have separate registrations. If you registered for kharif 2026-27, you will still have to register again for rabi 2026-27. The old registration does not automatically work for the rabi season. Many farmers forget this, and only find out at the mandi that their name is not in the rabi list at all.
Another portal is linked to this one — e-Kharid, at ekharid.haryana.gov.in. The work of crop procurement, gate passes and J-Forms happens through the e-Kharid portal. Registering on Meri Fasal Mera Byora is the first step, and the mandi sale work is linked to e-Kharid. The two portals are connected to each other, so keep the mobile number and farmer ID given at the time of registration safe.
Haryana buys 24 crops at MSP. This means that if you grow any of these crops and register on the portal, you can sell your crop to the government at MSP. The main rabi crops are wheat, barley, gram, lentil (masur), rapeseed and mustard, and safflower, and the full MSP list for them is given later in this article.

This table gives the most important information of this article in one place. If you are short on time, read just this table and the MSP section below, and then look at the registration steps. But if you are registering for the first time, it is better to read the full article, because a half-complete registration causes trouble at the mandi.
Rabi 2026-27 Registration Status — What Is Happening Now?
Registration for rabi 2026-27 on the Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal is reported to have opened in early November 2026. SarkariSaral wrote on 4 November 2026 that registration started on 4 November 2026, iHaryana wrote on 5 November 2026 that registration has started, and CWB Hindi News wrote on 7 November 2026 that the portal is active for rabi 2026-27. But one thing must be said clearly — the exact start date of registration has not yet been confirmed from an official source. That is why we are not writing 4 November in this article as a confirmed date.
The correct position is this: rabi 2026-27 registration is reported open in early November 2026, and the last date has not been announced yet. Before registering, please check the current position on fasal.haryana.gov.in. If the registration option is visible on the portal, register without delay. Waiting for the last date is not a good idea, because in the final days the portal gets crowded and there can be problems with OTP or the server.
There is also one fresh piece of news. Haryana Agriculture Minister Shyam Singh Rana announced on 4 November 2026 that farmers registered on Meri Fasal Mera Byora will get an 80 percent subsidy on the purchase of vermicompost. This news was published by hryojna.com on 5 November 2026. But the cap and the last date for this subsidy are not publicly available, so please confirm this with the portal or the Agriculture Department. We are mentioning it here only as a news item, not as a confirmed benefit.
Wrong information about this scheme is also spreading on some websites, which confuses farmers. Some sites have written the last date as “31 September” — September does not have 31 days, so do not trust such a date. The Bajaj Finserv website wrongly calls it a Telangana platform — this is wrong; it is a Haryana government portal. The IndiaFilings website gives a link to the old domain fasalhry.in. Farmers should trust only one address — fasal.haryana.gov.in. That is the official portal.
MSP for Rabi 2026-27 — How Much Will You Get for Each Crop?
The minimum support price (MSP) is the price at which the government buys crops from farmers. The MSP for rabi 2026-27 was approved by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) on 1 October 2025, and the information was released by the Press Information Bureau (PIB). The table below gives the MSP for all six rabi crops for 2026-27, along with the increase over the previous year.
| Crop | MSP 2026-27 (per quintal) | Increase |
|---|---|---|
| Wheat | Rs 2,585 | Rs 160 |
| Barley | Rs 2,150 | Rs 170 |
| Gram | Rs 5,875 | Rs 225 |
| Masur (lentil) | Rs 7,000 | Rs 300 |
| Rapeseed and mustard | Rs 6,200 | Rs 250 |
| Safflower | Rs 6,540 | Rs 600 |
Wheat is the biggest rabi crop in Haryana, so the wheat MSP gets the most attention. For rabi 2026-27, the MSP for wheat is Rs 2,585 per quintal, which is Rs 160 more than last year. The biggest increase is for safflower — Rs 600 per quintal. Masur has increased by Rs 300, mustard by Rs 250, gram by Rs 225 and barley by Rs 170.
Be careful about one confusion here. Some news reports mention a wheat MSP of Rs 2,610 for the rabi marketing season 2027-28, announced on 30 September 2026. That is the price for the next season, not for rabi 2026-27. For rabi 2026-27, the correct wheat MSP is Rs 2,585 per quintal. If any middleman or agent quotes Rs 2,610 for this season, understand that he is giving wrong information.
The benefit of MSP will come only if your registration is correct and your crop details are recorded on the portal. The gate pass and J-Form at the time of selling in the mandi are also linked to this same registration. So before feeling happy after seeing the MSP table, it is necessary to complete the registration.
MSP for Kharif 2026-27 — For Reference
Registration for kharif 2026-27 is now closed, but for farmers who registered in kharif, the MSP of that season is useful to know. Some of the main kharif 2026-27 MSPs are — paddy common Rs 2,441 per quintal, paddy Grade A Rs 2,461, bajra Rs 2,900, maize Rs 2,410, moong Rs 8,780, urad Rs 8,200 and cotton (medium) Rs 8,267 per quintal. In total, Haryana buys 24 crops at MSP. If you registered in kharif and the payment has not come yet, see the payment-check method given later in this article.
Who Can Register?
There are some conditions for registering on Meri Fasal Mera Byora. These conditions are not very strict, but it is important to know them so that there is no problem at the time of registration.
- Resident farmer of Haryana: The farmer registering must be a resident of Haryana, and must be 18 years of age or above.
- Landowner: A farmer in whose name the land is held can register by entering the details of his field. Land records — khewat, khatoni, khasra or killa numbers and jamabandi — are needed at the time of registration.
- Tenants and sharecroppers: A farmer who cultivates someone else’s land can also register. A tenant farmer will have to give a tenancy agreement or proof of the landowner’s consent. Not only the landowner, but also a farmer cultivating on batai (sharecropping) can take the benefit of this portal.
- Farmers of neighbouring states: Farmers of neighbouring states who own land in Haryana can also register. The condition is that the land must be in Haryana and its records must be correct.
- Aadhaar-linked mobile number: An Aadhaar-linked mobile number is necessary for registration and login, because the OTP comes on that number. If your mobile number is not linked to Aadhaar, get it linked first.
One more thing to remember — registration has to be done afresh every season. The kharif registration will not work in rabi. Even if you registered last season, you will have to register again for this season. This rule exists because the crop and the sown area change every season.
If you are a beneficiary of the PM Kisan scheme, you will still have to register separately on Meri Fasal Mera Byora. The PM Kisan instalment and the sale of crops are two different things. For complete information about PM Kisan, you can read our PM Kisan Yojana 2026 article. Similarly, if you have not yet taken the benefit of PM Awas Yojana for building your house, you can also see the information on PM Awas Yojana 2026.
Which Documents Are Needed for Registration?
Before starting the registration, keep all the documents in one place. Searching for documents in the middle can leave the form incomplete. Keep the papers ready as per the list below.
- Aadhaar card: The farmer’s Aadhaar card is the most important document.
- Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family ID): Haryana’s Family ID, or PPP, is also needed.
- Aadhaar-linked mobile number: This same number will be used for OTP login.
- Bank account and passbook: Bank account number, account holder’s name, branch and IFSC code are needed. The account must be Aadhaar-seeded, because the payment will come into this same account through DBT.
- Land records: Khewat, khatoni, khasra or killa numbers and jamabandi. Separate details have to be given for each field.
- Crop and sown-area details: Keep ready the information about which crop has been sown in which field and in how much area.
- Passport-size photo: A passport-size photo of the farmer is also needed.
- For tenants: Tenancy agreement or proof of the landowner’s consent. Without this, a tenant’s registration can get stuck.
One piece of advice about documents — the name on the bank account and the name on the Aadhaar card should be the same. If there is a difference in the name, the payment can get stuck. Similarly, the name in the land records and the name on the Aadhaar card should also match. If the name in the jamabandi is old or has a mistake, it is better to get it corrected before registering.
How to Register on Meri Fasal Mera Byora — Step by Step
Registering online is not difficult. Follow the steps given below one by one. If you do not have a smartphone or a computer, you can go to the nearest CSC or Atal Seva Kendra and get registered for free. The operator there will help you. You can also register by giving a written application at the SDM office.
- Open the portal: Open fasal.haryana.gov.in on your mobile or computer. Make sure the address is exactly this — do not register on any other website.
- Choose the Farmer Section: On the home page, click on Farmer Section (Kisan Anubhag).
- Click on Farmer Registration: In the Farmer Section, you will find the Farmer Registration option. Click on it.
- Mobile number and OTP: Enter your Aadhaar-linked mobile number. An OTP will come on that number. Enter the OTP and proceed. If the OTP is not coming, wait for some time or see the troubleshooting section below.
- Family ID and Aadhaar details: Enter your Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family ID) and Aadhaar-related information.
- Fill in personal details: Fill in your name, address and other personal details correctly. Write the name exactly as it appears on the Aadhaar card.
- Fill in land and crop details: Give separate details for each field — khasra or killa number, which crop has been sown, and in how much area. This is the most important part, so do not hurry.
- Fill in bank details: Enter the bank account number, account holder’s name, branch and IFSC code. Give the account in which you want the payment and which is linked to Aadhaar.
- Mandi and aarthiya details: Also fill in the mandi where the crop will be sold and the aarthiya details.
- Submit the form: Read all the information once again and check it, then submit the form. Keep safe the acknowledgement number or reference ID you get after submitting. Take a printout of the receipt or save its photo in your mobile.
After the registration is complete, you will get an acknowledgement or reference ID. This ID is very useful — it is needed for checking the registration status, getting the gate pass and checking payment information. Write it on a paper and keep it in a safe place, and also save it in your mobile.
Farmers registering offline should also carry the same information — Aadhaar card, Family ID, land records, bank passbook and photo. Registration at a CSC or Atal Seva Kendra is free. If anyone asks you for money for registration, understand that he is doing something wrong. There is no fee for registration.
How to Check Your Registration Status?
After registering, it is important to know whether your registration has been accepted or is still under verification. The method to check the status is very easy.
- Open fasal.haryana.gov.in.
- Choose the Farmer Search option.
- Enter your registered mobile number.
- Your registration list and its status will be shown to you.
If the status shows pending, it means your registration is still under verification. In this process, the crop and area are confirmed through satellite data and ground checks — this same method was used in kharif 2026-27. If the status shows approved, your registration is complete. If it shows rejected, see the reason and fix it by the method given in the troubleshooting section below.
One thing to remember while checking the status — it can take some time for the status to change immediately after registering. If you registered today itself and the status is not showing, check again after a day or two. Avoid asking for OTP again and again, because sometimes the OTP stops coming after repeated attempts.
How to Check Your Payment Status?
After selling the crop in the mandi, the biggest question is — when will the money come, and how much will come? In purchases linked to Meri Fasal Mera Byora, the payment is made through DBT directly into the farmer’s registered bank account. The payment comes after procurement and verification, so the money does not come as soon as the crop is sold — it takes some time.
- First make sure that your registration is approved and the details of the crop sale are recorded on the e-Kharid portal.
- Check your bank account details — the account number, IFSC code and account holder’s name must be correct.
- The account must be linked to Aadhaar. If the account is not linked to Aadhaar, the DBT payment can get stuck.
- To know the payment status, log in to the e-Kharid portal ekharid.haryana.gov.in with your mobile number or farmer ID and OTP. There you can see information related to the sale and payment.
- Also check with the bank passbook or the bank SMS whether the money has come into the account. Sometimes the money reaches the account, but the farmer does not get the SMS.
If a long time has passed since the crop was sold and the payment has not come, first check your status on the portal. If it shows payment pending there, contact the officers of your mandi or the helpline. If the bank account details are wrong, the payment can also return, so do not forget to update the information on the portal if the account has changed.
How to Get the Gate Pass and J-Form?
A gate pass is needed while taking the crop to the mandi. The gate pass and J-Form are available from the e-Kharid portal. The method is as follows.
- Open ekharid.haryana.gov.in.
- Log in with your registered mobile number or farmer ID.
- Enter the OTP and proceed.
- After logging in, choose the gate pass option and create the gate pass as per your crop and mandi details.
- The J-Form is available after the sale. This form is proof that your crop was sold in the mandi and at what price. Keep it safe, because it is useful in any complaint related to payment.
Before creating the gate pass, make sure that your registration is approved and the crop details are recorded correctly. If there is a difference between the crop recorded in the registration and the crop being taken to the mandi, there can be a problem in creating the gate pass. It is better to keep the gate pass ready before taking the crop to the mandi, so that you do not have to wait at the mandi gate.
Kharif 2026-27 Registration Is Closed — What Happened?
Registration for kharif 2026-27 on Meri Fasal Mera Byora is now closed. Its first last date was 31 July 2026. After that, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced on 20 September 2026 at the Babain grain market in Kurukshetra that registration would be reopened. After this, the portal was reopened from 21 to 27 September 2026, so that the farmers who were left out could register.
In the kharif season, registration was verified through satellite data and ground checks. This means the government confirmed through satellite images of the fields and checks done on the ground whether the crop and area told by the farmer were correct or not. A similar check can happen in the rabi season too, so filling in the crop details correctly is very important. A wrong entry can lead to the registration being rejected.
If you registered in kharif, you will still have to register again for rabi. The kharif registration will not run automatically in rabi. This point is repeated twice in this article because this is the most common mistake farmers make.
Common Mistakes and Problems — And Their Solutions
Small mistakes at the time of registration become big problems. Below are the problems that come up most often, along with their solutions.
1. OTP is not coming
The most common reason for the OTP not coming is that the mobile number is not linked to Aadhaar. First check whether your mobile number is linked to Aadhaar or not. If the number has changed, first update the new number in Aadhaar. The OTP can also come late when the network is weak — wait for a few minutes and try again. Avoid asking for the OTP again and again.
2. Land records are not matching
If the land information entered on the portal does not match the jamabandi, the registration gets stuck. The reason is often that the name in the jamabandi is old or the khasra number has been entered wrongly. The solution is to first get a fresh copy of the jamabandi from the patwari or the revenue department, and enter the khasra, khewat and khatoni numbers exactly as written on the paper.
3. Registration shows pending
Pending does not mean that the registration has been cancelled. It means that verification is going on. Verification through satellite data and ground checks takes time. Wait for a few days and check the status again. If the status does not change for a long time, contact a CSC centre or the helpline.
4. Registration has been rejected
When a registration is rejected, first see the reason for rejection. In most cases, the reason is missing documents or wrong information. Fix the reason and register again. If the reason is not clear, go to a CSC centre and take help. The operator there can look at the reason on the portal and explain it.
5. Duplicate claim problem
If two registrations have been made for the same field — for example, both the landowner and the tenant registered the same field — the claim can get stuck. In such a situation, contact the concerned officer with the correct documents. The tenant should keep his tenancy agreement or consent letter ready.
6. Bank account details are wrong
If the account number or IFSC code has been entered wrongly, the payment will get stuck. Fill in the details after looking at the bank passbook before submitting the registration. If the account has changed, get the information updated on the portal. It is best to check this before the payment is due.
7. Waiting for the last date
Many farmers wait for the last date, and then on the last day the portal gets crowded. The OTP comes late, the form is not submitted, and the registration is missed. The last date for rabi 2026-27 has not been announced yet, but as soon as the registration option appears on the portal, register as soon as possible.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the fee for registration on Meri Fasal Mera Byora?
Registration is completely free. There is no fee for registering online, and registration at a CSC or Atal Seva Kendra is also free. If anyone asks you for money for registration, he is doing something wrong.
2. Is fresh registration needed every season?
Yes, it is absolutely necessary. Kharif and rabi need separate registrations. The kharif 2026-27 registration will not work for rabi 2026-27. The crop and the sown area change every season, so a fresh registration has to be done.
3. What is the MSP for wheat for rabi 2026-27?
For rabi 2026-27, the MSP for wheat is Rs 2,585 per quintal, which is Rs 160 more than last year. This price was approved by the CCEA on 1 October 2025. Remember that the Rs 2,610 price is for the next season 2027-28, not for this season.
4. What is the last date for rabi 2026-27 registration?
Rabi 2026-27 registration is reported open in early November 2026, but the last date has not been announced yet. For the latest information, check fasal.haryana.gov.in. The safest way is to register as soon as possible without waiting for the last date.
5. Can a tenant farmer register?
Yes, a tenant farmer can also register. He will have to give a tenancy agreement or proof of the landowner’s consent. Not only the landowner, but also a farmer cultivating on batai can take the benefit of this portal.
6. When and how will the payment come?
The payment comes through DBT directly into the registered bank account. The payment is made after procurement and verification in the mandi, so the money does not come as soon as the crop is sold — it takes some time. The payment status can be seen by logging in to the e-Kharid portal ekharid.haryana.gov.in.
7. Where will I get the gate pass and J-Form?
The gate pass and J-Form are available from the e-Kharid portal ekharid.haryana.gov.in. Log in to the portal with your mobile number or farmer ID and OTP. Create the gate pass before taking the crop to the mandi, and keep the J-Form safe after the sale.
8. What should I do if the OTP is not coming?
First check whether your mobile number is linked to Aadhaar or not. If the number has changed, first update the new number in Aadhaar. Wait for a few minutes, check the network, and avoid asking for the OTP again and again. If the OTP still does not come, go to a CSC centre and take help.
