The exam pattern has been revised. There is no separate Maths section now. The paper has three parts: Part 1 covers 10 General Studies subjects (65 marks), Part 2 covers Computer and IT (15 marks), and Part 3 covers General Information about Uttar Pradesh (20 marks). Hindi covers sandhi, samas, idioms and grammar; Computer covers MS Word, internet, cyber security and basic AI; and UP GK covers the history, culture, rivers, districts and festivals of the state.
Give the most time to UP GK and Computer, because together they carry 35 marks. Environment and Data Interpretation add another 20 marks. The syllabus is at Class 12 level, so start with basic books and then practise with previous year question papers. Since 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer, avoid guessing.
