The total number of posts is now 16,717, up from 5,707. Online applications will open on 13 November 2026 at 2:00 PM and close on 27 November 2026 at 11:59 PM. The preliminary examination will now be held on 24 January 2027.

Age Limit: 19 to 38 years as on 1 October 2026. The maximum age is 43 years for reserved categories, EWS and orphan candidates. A one-year relaxation in the upper age limit has also been given under a Government Resolution dated 5 November 2026.
