E-Shram Card Registration 2026: Benefits, Eligibility & Process

The e-Shram portal is the national database of unorganised-sector workers (labourers, street vendors, domestic workers, rickshaw pullers and others). After registration you get an e-Shram card, which brings government scheme benefits directly to you.

Who Can Register?

  • Age between 16 and 59 years.

  • Cannot register: EPFO/ESIC members and income-tax payers.

How to Register (official method)

  1. Open eshram.gov.in.
  2. Click “Register on e-SHRAM”.
  3. Enter your Aadhaar-linked mobile number and verify the OTP.
  4. Enter your Aadhaar number and complete e-KYC.
  5. Fill in personal, address, education, occupation and bank account details.
  6. Submit the form — the e-Shram card downloads immediately.
  7. Or register for free at the nearest CSC centre.
