What is the scheme?
- A central government scheme giving direct financial help to crores of farmer families.
- Money comes via DBT straight to bank accounts — no middlemen.
Who is eligible?
- Farmer families who own cultivable land in their name.
- Not eligible: government employees, income-tax payers, professionals like doctors/engineers/lawyers, and institutional land holders.
- Land records and Aadhaar must be linked to the bank account.
How to Check Beneficiary Status (official method)
Status cannot be checked on our site — always use the official portal:
- Open pmkisan.gov.in.
- Under “Farmers Corner”, click “Beneficiary Status”.
- Enter your Aadhaar number, mobile number or bank account number.
- Press “Get Data” — full details of your installments will appear.
Why is e-KYC necessary?
- Without e-KYC your installment can get stuck.
- e-KYC can be done three ways: OTP-based (on the portal), biometric (at a CSC centre), or face authentication (via the mobile app).
